The brief
An agency needed a WordPress developer they could trust
A UK marketing agency had designed a full used car dealership website in Figma for their end client — a family-run car dealer in North Yorkshire. They needed a developer to turn their design into a working WordPress site, pixel-perfect, responsive, and delivered fast.
The agency had been let down by a previous freelancer who missed the deadline and delivered a build that didn’t match the design. They needed someone reliable who could pick up a Figma file and deliver a clean build without hand-holding.
How the partnership worked
Their design. Our build. Their brand.
The agency handled the client relationship, design, and content. We handled the WordPress development. The end client never knew we were involved.
Figma handover
The agency shared their complete Figma file with responsive layouts, component specs, and interaction notes. We reviewed it and confirmed a fixed quote within 24 hours.
WordPress build
We built every page pixel-perfect in WordPress using Etch and ACSS. Daily progress updates via Slack — no radio silence, no surprises.
QA and handover
Full cross-browser testing, mobile testing, performance check, then handed over on staging with documentation. The agency reviewed, approved, and launched to their client.
Technical challenges
Not just a brochure site
This build had real complexity beyond a standard business website. The Figma design was detailed and required precise implementation across multiple interactive components.
Vehicle stock display
A filterable grid of vehicle cards with images, pricing, finance calculations, mileage, fuel type, and badges. Each card links to a detailed single vehicle page.
Interactive forms
Part-exchange valuation form, test drive booking, and finance enquiry — each with validation, conditional logic, and email notifications to the dealer.
Multi-page with shared components
12 pages sharing a consistent header, footer, and CTA pattern. Every page needed to work independently while feeling like one cohesive site.
What we built
12 pages, pixel-perfect from Figma
Every page was built to match the agency’s Figma design exactly — spacing, typography, colour, responsive behaviour, and interaction states.
